Wet Willies is kinda awesome. I was expecting a decent experience, but my experience increased from "decent" to "really great" with the service that we were provided. Wet Willies serves a small selection of "bar food" - but they mostly are known for their make-your-own daiquiris. It sorta reminds me of a froyo place - but for alcohol. Behind the bar, there are lots of constantly-spinning daiquiri drinks - sorta like a slushy machine. You can mix and match the various drinks to make your own favorite - and the bartenders have great ones to recommend as well. The strongest of the drinks are made with 180/190 proof (I forget) Everclear while the "weaker" ones are made with tons of vodka and tequila. You can sample up to 3 flavors. You can mix and match as many as you want and the price stays exactly the same. They also have jello shots for $2 a shot. I think they were a lime jello and they definitely looked bar-made. It was a neat little addition. The daiquiri drinks were definitely where the focus was, and it was delicious. They have a chocolate that is EXTREMELY decadent. If you love Hershey's Syrup, I'm not even kidding - it tastes like an alcoholic version of Hershey's Syrup. Start out smaller if you can - a small goes a lot longer of a way than you'd think. It's very, very cold, and it feels amazing outside on a warm summer day. Everybody else also loved their flavors, and this is one of those places I could see myself really falling in love with if I lived here. The food was good as well. Not gourmet-quality, but yummy. Burger was cooked perfectly to medium - not every person can do that. We were hungry, and the food was tasty - and for three people eating lunch AND getting alcoholic drinks, our total was barely over $40. That's impressive. We were served and welcomed extremely quickly. The bartender was super sweet. She was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate and happy about doing her job. She explained how the drinks work and offered recommendations. She regularly checked in on us and if she was busy, she made a quick check-in to say she'd be right back. She'd regularly just stop and say "everything going okay?" and then just go back to work if we were doing fine. Water glasses were refilled regularly. She was honestly a perfect bartender. However, we did receive a lot less service once the restaurant started getting packed. Our bartender was working the bar perfectly - but we regularly saw two of the other waitress employees just sitting around or standing around. At one point, our bartender had to go up and chastise another employee for not helping, but even then, the other employee didn't seem to do much. I'd be really disappointed if I had come to Wet Willies without the bartender that we had. Loved the place and the drinks and would definitely come back. However, without the girl that was working, I'm not sure we would have enjoyed it at all. She was fantastic, but it seems like maybe not all of their staff is the same caliber.

This place is excellent. Staff is nice and willing to let you try samples before you buy. I would recommend the Bob Marley. It is not on the menu but it is the best drink that they make.

Another great Wet Willies location! This Wet Willies is located in one of the cool bar areas of Myrtle Beach-- it reminded me of Universal Walk in Orlando, FL! When walking this area you will find this location right across from Fat Tuesdays. And boy does this area come alive at night! This is a very cool place to enjoy a frozen daiquiri and I love their outside seating on the harbor or on the walk area. The bartenders were able to keep up with serving all of the patrons and the drinks were made correctly! The only reason this place gets a one is because they only had one bathroom for men and one for women. I mean come on this is bar--- people will need to use the bathroom and/or locate the bathroom if feeling sick. Other than that I really liked this location!

This was our favorite drink spot in the Myrtle Beach area and we stopped by during a hot summer day. Inside was decorated nicely and had a welcoming atmosphere even at 12 in the afternoon! We sat at the bar, and our bartender was super nice. I did forget her name though, but very welcoming. We were offered up 2 samples, blue ninja turtle and Bob Marley. My husband and I both ended up getting the Bob Marley (strawberry, sour apple and mango). It was delicious and not overly sweet. $6 for a small. Great value, great service and great drinks! We were hoping to find ourselves back later in our trip but did not make it, so not sure how the food is.

3.5 stars We were looking for a place to grab a bite and drink. What led me to this place was Yelp and in the end, it ended up being the right decision. As we entered the place, we were greeted with a sign stating to please seat yourself and so we did, at a table with 4 chairs. A guy came up to our table and gave us some menus and then took our drink order. Close to the time, 2 more in our party arrived and "Steve" immediately grabbed 2 chairs to add to our table. We all then ordered from the menu. I got the Original American Classic burger and it was good. It also came with French Fries (or you can get House-Made Coleslaw). I also got a daiquiri as they had several to choose from. I wish I knew that I could have gotten a taste before actually deciding on one, but it was still good. I would definitely go back and try some of the different flavored daiquiris they had. The others in my party had Tacos, The Big (Over) Easy burger and Jambalaya, and they enjoyed their food as well. If we are in this area again, I will definitely go back. Our server, Steve, got 4 stars as he was very attentive and pleasant.

Great place to hang out with friends...especially on the back patio that overlooks the water. We were there on a night that had a live band and fireworks...loved it! The service was very friendly and the drinks were tasty. The finger shot glass totally creeped me out, but made for a priceless conversation piece.

First time at Broadway at the beach and wanted to find somewhere reasonably priced. We seated ourselves inside, but there is a very nice patio out back. Server was nice and attentive and gave us menu recommendations. I got a burger and so did my boyfriend. For $8.29 (with fries) it was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone not wanting to spend $15 per entree. I didn't drink but they have tons of frozen daquiris like Fat Tuesday. Overall, great place to go at Broadway at the beach.

I like their drinks. Frozen chocolate one. Nice to sit out back. Service is good. You can see fireworks from there and they have music sometimes. We usually get one of the fries options for something to snack on while drinking- they are good. We love to feed the little garbage kitties that roam around there, there's like three of them. It's a good place I enjoy it when I come down.:)

We ended up in here for dinner because the local piano bar had a private party going on before the evening show. We yelped the closet place and this one had great reviews. We were hesitant when we walked in. It was 7pm on a Saturday in April and no seemed to be there for their food, just their slushy style Daiquiries. We ordered anyway. It was a decent bar menu. I had a Buffalo chicken wrap and my husband had their spicy chicken sandwich, I forgot the name of it. We were surprised that the food was tasty. We both enjoyed our wrap, sandwich and fries. Their Daiquiries are neat. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. They let me test a couple because they said they were all very sweet and I don't care for sweet alcoholic drinks. I went with their Margarita, and my husband had a Bob Marley and the Mango flavors. We ordered their small ($6). We enjoyed our drinks and they are definitely loaded with alcohol. Prices were reasonable.

If you love daiquiri bars this would be the second best one in myrtle beach! They are located directly next to señor frogs which is way over priced!! They have a back deck with live music which is nice after a long day of catching rays!! They have many delicious flavors for everyone! I would suggest it you want the most bang for your buck get the superman it is awesome!! It's a mix of "shock treatment and call a cab"!! Oh and if Sarah is at the bar get her she is awesome! Another great aspect is that they are 21 and over only which is good for adults because it keeps the underage crowd out!!!! Would recommend to everyone visiting!

I'm a guy who wears a baseball cap a lot, especially on vacation. So when my wife and I (and my brother and his wife) tried to go check this place out I was disappointed. I was told (as was my brother who was also wearing his cap) that they had a "dress code" and that we'd need to remove our caps while inside. The last time I was told that was at my grandmother's house for dinner, and I guarantee she wasn't serving drinks. Look, you are a BAR called WET WILLIES that serves ALCOHOLIC SLUSHIES, and for some reason me wearing my baseball cap is a problem? We were literally the only customers in this place while the neighboring bars (including Fat Tuesday's) were jumping. So evidently the snobbish "dress code" is working, assuming your goal is to drive your customers to your competitors. It worked for us, since we left without ordering anything and went to Fat Tuesday's and had a great time (while wearing our baseball caps I might add).

This is a perfect place to kick back and relax while on vacation at the beach. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. We had chicken wings, shrimp tacos, and a fried chicken sandwich with fries. All were ample portions and reasonably priced. Let's not forget the mango daiquiri!!! Yummy!

It's a must go every time we are in Myrtle. It's a great place just to sit and enjoy the music. They have a back patio that is perfect for catching the fireworks at Broadway. The drink concoctions are pretty cool and delicious. They have a decent menu for food to munch on while you're sucking down the frozen drinks. Service is good - they check up on you often enough, but not too much where it becomes a bother. Overall, a great place!

  • Isabel J.

If there is a Wet Willies then I will be there. I'm a huge fan of their strong frozen drinks especially monkey shine. Also, don't forget to get some of their $2 jello shots. This location has a really nice outdoor space and the service here was outstanding.

Fun place to stop by. Our bartender was friendly & helpful - he let us try a bunch of samples & made great recommendations. We had the White Russian and Bob Marley (strawberry, mango & sour apple) - both were really good. I'd definitely go back to try more.

Service was great! It was easy to get to the bar and the bartender knew his drinks. I ordered the Call a Cab mixed with the Shock Treatment which is called the Superman. The drink prices were good a large drink was only $8 which was excellent cause it came with a souvenir cup. They had a DJ on the outside deck. However, he needs to be replaced because he kept playing the same 3 songs. Other than that I recommend this location.

  • Dyonna B.

I always love this place. Whether its this location, Miami or Charlotte. I get the superman when has the call-a-cab (strongest daiquiri) . its my fave. Good service and I love how the bartenders offer taste tests. BTW thank you to the bartender who swirled a heart in my daiquiri on Valentines day!

First timer! Loved the Ninja Turtle and Superman/woman!!! You only need a medium/small to get lifted. Get a large and you're stumbling OUT of the door! The atmosphere was chill and the game was on most of the TVs! They have awesome nachos and wings. The lemon pepper wings with ranch are the BEST!

Shana the bartender was friendly and the drinks and food were good. Order the call a cab daiquiri!

Love! That's what I think when it comes to Wet Willie's. The DJ with the dreadlocks was jammin, our waiter was attentive and kept the drinks flowing. Drink prices were decent. I am craving me a frozen drink right now topped off with a patron finger shot! Wet Willie's will definitely get the party started. 5 Stars!

  • Melanie W.

We were very intrigue to taste the variety of daiquiri they had to offer; I got a strawberry daiquiri super tasty. But it did took us by surprise the fact that they don't mix your alcohol I.e if you order a rum and coke you get a cup of coke and a shot of rum on the side. Yes you can keep the finger like shot but you pour your alcohol (different and never seen that before). They have very friendly staff and our waiter even gave us the scoop on places for entertainment. A good spot to relax and enjoy daiquiris with friends and family.

Wet Willie's at Boardwalk at the Beach is my favorite place to go in Myrtle Beach. This was the second time my husband and I went. The first time we stayed at the La Quinta, and walked so we were able to hang out and "enjoy" ourselves a little more. When you get here it will look empty. Don't be afraid! Just walk right in, seat yourself on the back patio. It' a little hidden gem with TVs, couches to lounge around, and trees for shade. It was fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and order the bacon cheese fries. They are SOOO GOOOD. I promise you won't be dissapointed. Although this is a frozen drinks restaurant you can order a Jack and Coke, something my husband appreciated because it wasn't so sweet. You can also order one of their famous "finger shots" which is just how it sounds to add to your frozen drinks. My favorite drink to order is Call A Cab because it is not too sweet and you can add a shot. You really only need one, but when you're enjoying yourself and your hotel is within walking distance, why stop at 1?

Great service!! Trey was excellent, checked in with my group of five at the proper intervals. Also, provided us with water between drinks, that was excellent as well! The space in the back is beautiful and a great get away from the fast pace boardwalk.

What more can I say, my drink was "right on time" ... Not Miami but this will do if you're in SC for the week.

To me there is nothing to improve. If you sit at their bar area you get great conversation and get to fully look at the selections. Love to go there year round have a drink and just relax on the patio in the back over the water. Great place.

Came here with friends and we were greeted by a friendly server. She knew the menu well, was very attentive and got our stuff fast. The drinks are great. I had the Bob Marley mix! The food tasted good and the portions were generous. I recommend this place!

Girlfriend want frozen drink and since fat tuesdays was walkout awful we came here. Had to take my baseball hat off cause no hats inside??? But bouncer was cool about it so no biggie. Bartender was quick there to jump in and give us different ideas for mixtures! Deck was really nice and worth going back to. Advice walk past fat tuesdays and head an extra 30 yards to wet willies for frozen drinks!

  • Derrick F.

Food menu is very short but that's not why most people come here. If you order a mixed drink like a jack and coke they will bring you a coke with a shot of jack daniels (in a plastic finger) on the side of the cup for you to pour it in yourself.. whatever lol. Friendly service. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't very crowded at all.

  • James D.

Great place for a brain freeze ! I've been here twice in three days and ate both times and the food is ok but what I came for is the mixed Mango freeze :) I met John who took care of me and gave me many samples to try . I go back before I leave on Wednesday night !

  • Chris P.

Went here back to back nights. First night we sat on the back patio and weren't waited on. Had to get our own drinks. Second night we had a very attentive waiter. I'm guessing the first night was the exception rather than the rule. Also, very good prices.

    (4)
  • Tom C.

I have not tried the food, so cannot say how whether it is any good, but I can say their drinks at delicious and very strong. They are also very cold though so go slow to avoid the brain freeze!

Got a White Russian with chocolate. Wow. It was awesome. The bartender was also super super friendly and gave great suggestions. This place even had nonalcoholic choices for our driver. I will for sure be back again.

Me and my Boo went here on Valentines day weekend and really enjoyed the food & drinks. I had the spicy burger and he had the fish tacos. I can honestly say we can't wait to go back. I am usually not a daiquiri fan, but they won me over! You just gotta stop in and have a few if you're in Myrtle Beach.

OHHHHHHH this is a good place!!! We are fans of Wet Willie's and when we return we plan on getting those drinks from here again!! Pretty sweet mixes, bartender was super nice and we started off the partying here. I introduced some of my friends to this place and now they rave about it just like we do. If only VA could change a few of their laws...

Frozen drinks and lots of them. Not much else to say. One of the upsides to the place is the outdoor space. A couple a TVs to watch the game as you drink and enjoy the scenery.

  • Adam C.

Super friendly bar staff and decently priced drinks. Drinks are very good and range from strong to knock you off your chair. Awesome water front patio with flat screen TVs and cushioned chairs.

Went for the daiquiris. They were delicious. Friendly service. Large outback patio on the water. Also have comfy wicker patio furniture with large flat screens. TVs not good for the daytime crowd, but I'm sure they are nice at night.

I am a wet willies connoisseur and I would like to say that i thoroughly enjoyed my experience here tonight. The server Damian was excellent and was so helpful to my friend that was a wet willies newbie lol.

  • Dani N.

This was not here last time I was at the beach. I have ALWAYS been a wet willies fan!!! I love this place!! We went around happy hour and it was only about 6 people in here. The bartender was supercool. She suggested all kinds of mixes. Patron shots were like $3 or $4. I had some awesome mixes...too bad I cant remember what any of them were!!! LOL What does that tell you??? Too many drinks for me!!! My fave wet willies is still the one in Charleston!! TIP-You could walk past it if not paying attention. Its next to Senior Frogs and diagonal from the bull ride!!

  • Brittany B.

Nice outdoor patio with live music. The drinks are basically pre-made alcoholic slushies. Kinda cool idea, and plenty of yummy flavors. They allow you to taste test and mix different flavors together. Definitely an affordable place, too! Fun atmosphere, but not a place to go if you're looking to do some dancing.

  • John L.

We choose this place because of the .99$ kids meals. The service was great the waitress gave us multiple free tastings for a party of 6. She even let me run to the info kiosk to get extra kids meal coupons. The food was better than expected burgers and pulled pork. Kids meal were large and loved by them especially the mini burgers. Also they have kids cups for $1 more that allows you to get free kids sodas for "ever" or $1 slushies. Since we come to Broadway at the Beach 3-4 times every year the price is well worth it. Great deck out back too.

    (4)
  • Dan N.

This place is.....interesting. I probably would have enjoyed the idea of it much more in my crazier college years, but, surprisingly enough, their adult slushies did do the trick! If you've never been here before, it's a good place to get a strong drink--and avoid the stupid line at Senor Frogs...

  • Chet M.

Should have observed the amount of open seats and taken it as a hint. Burgers and fries were good. The drinks were good but 8 bucks for a frozen daiquiri in a solo cup is a bit much at a burger joint. I don't think I will go back.

  • Kayla S.

It was pretty obvious our waitress was having a crappy night, and she took it out on us. I knew it was going to be a bad experience when we sat down. She came over to us, and my husband said "hey, how are you?" and she didn't even look at us, just tossed our menus on the table and walked away. Then she just stood there by the bar with her arms crossed. I almost felt like we offended her somehow. We ordered burgers and frozen drinks. The burgers were pretty dry, but the drinks were really good. Their fries are to DIE for, but definitely not good enough to salvage my opinion on the place. I loved the bartender, he was adorable and really upbeat. When our waitress came back to get our order she just said, "What do you want?" in a really annoyed tone, like it was obvious she didn't want to be there or take our order. We almost walked out but decided to stay because we were starving and it was the only place without a line. We should've just walked out. We definitely won't be going back.

I brought myself and my children here for lunch like we do every single year in our vacation. This time I was pretty upset with the lack of flavor in the food. The past years the food was flavorful, hot and pretty rememerable. This year I am not sure where the lack is. We went to eat here around 1pm on a Wednesday in July maybe because it was a Wednesday and it was very hot outside meant that fewer people wanted to go out I don't know. I'll give my experience a 3 then I'll review again next summer.

Looking for a good daiquiri bar? This is the place. We went in looking for a nice dinner spot; the options were limited but pretty good. Highly recommend the Honey Sriracha wings. They were spicy with a touch of sweetness from the honey, so good!

  • Jc M.

Service was slow and terrible. One waitress working all tables outside. Food took 50 minutes to arrive at the table and they still screwed up the order. The food was terrible. Oh yeah, the waitress added a 15% tip to the bill for four adults and two children. Definitely not coming again.

  • Jeff C.

Stopped in for an afternoon drink and an appetizer. The drinks are the same concept as Fat Tuesday. They were fine and reasonably priced. However the chicken nachos were probably the worst nachos that I've ever paid real money for.

  • Lindsey W.

Wet Willie's is a great place to drink! The prices are fair and refills are a must. We sat on the patio and listened to a man sing his heart out. Love love this place. I bought a refillable cup for $17 and refills were only $7 for a large.

    (5)
  • Rob K.

Fat Tuesday was my typical frozen drink spot. I had been to a Wet Willies in Memphis and decided to cross over and try this location. My wife and I went in and were immediately greeted by a friendly bartender who quickly went over the drink menu/options with us. The rum runner (yes, I know it's basic) was fantastic. Coming Wet Willies and Fat Tuesday is like comparing Smirnoff and Grey Goose. Smirnoff is serviceable but there are much better options. Wet Willies being Grey Goose. We will be back.
